Supral Raj Joshiread bio
Supral Raj Joshi comes from Kathmandu, Nepal and is from the Newa (尼瓦) community, the indigenous people of the Kathmandu valley. He was a recipient of the Confucius Institute Scholarship, and thus studied Mandarin in Hebei. Supral was a radio program producer and presenter in Nepal from 2011 to 2017. Supral has also worked in advertising and is also a voice-over artist. A graduate of International Relations and Diplomacy from Tribhuvan University, at the Yenching Academy, Supral plans on researching on how the Belt and Road Initiative can encourage more cultural and economic exchanges between China and his home country of Nepal. During his stay at Beida, Supral also plans to improve his Chinese while developing lifelong friendships with future leaders from China and all over the world. In his spare time, Supral enjoys reading, volunteering, singing and listening to songs by Zhao Lei (赵雷) and Zhang Xuan (张悬).
