Michael Adu Gyekyeread bio
Michael Adu Gyekye lives in Accra, Ghana, and is a graduate of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology with a BA in Political Studies (Economics Minor). Michael is an Associate Fellow of the Royal Commonwealth Society, UK, and serves on the Policy and Advocacy Committee of the Commonwealth Youth Human Rights and Democracy Network (CYHRDN). He has interned in Research and Administration with a host of civil society organizations in Ghana. He regularly contributes articles on current affairs in Africa to several international blogs. At the Yenching Academy, Michael concentrates in Politics and International Relations, focusing on the dynamics, emerging trends and prospects of the growing China-Africa relationship. He is very eager to learn the Chinese language and enhance his knowledge of other aspects of Chinese culture. Michael aspires to become a leading Sino-Africa policy analyst and innovator. He loves to read, write, mentor, plan and organize events, and engage in diverse public speaking activities.
