Anastasiia Ilina graduated from Saint-Petersburg State University where she majored in Oriental Studies. She pursued her academic interests in Buddhism, modern Tibetan literature, and the linguistics of East Asia, completing a thesis on Tibetan poetry.

Yulia Leonovich studied at Saint Petersburg State University where her work focused on the classical works of ancient Chinese thinkers, as well as contemporary Chinese socio-political texts and literary works. She is interested in studying language, speech, and debate in the philosophical systems of ancient and medieval China, the philosophy of language, and the genesis of views on language in China.

Danila Simakhodskiy studied international economy and finance in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Danila represented Russia at a number of international events focusing on finance, emerging markets, and institutional reform. While at the Yenching Academy, Danila pursued his interest in RMB internationalization and offshore RMB markets, as well as the Sino-Russian development dialogue.
