Myung Jee Jang graduated from Sungkyunkwan University where she pursued her interest in the role of economics in explaining complex social phenomena. While at the Yenching Academy she got a firmer grasp on China’s economy, and focused her research on the factors leading to different economic development models across Asia and the transferability of such models. She would like to contribute to Chinese-Korean economic ties in the future.

Eun Seo Kim studied philosophy, politics and economics at the University of Oxford. Interested in the intersection between philosophy and environmentalism, she volunteered with a microfinance project in Ghana, and worked for a global environmental think-tank focusing on the relationship between philosophical valuations and economic calculations about the environment.
